The 90340 is called a "Cabbage Car," and functions without an engine or transmission as a pilot vehicle for the Amtrak Cascades. In its former glory it served as Amtrak #340 before being converted to an NPCU (Non Powered Cab Unit).  Stormy skies build in the background.  Behind us, Occidental Ave and Krispy Kreme.
